Pingelly has been recognised as the overall State Title holder in the Keep Australia Beautiful’s Tidy Towns Sustainable Communities Awards.

Local town, big win
Pingelly stood out as a finalist in four categories: Heritage & Culture, Young Legends, Community Wellbeing, and the prestigious State Title.
The town’s exceptional efforts were acknowledged, with Pingelly winning the Heritage & Culture State Title for its outstanding redevelopment of the Town Hall and Court House.
The judges were impressed by the heritage festival, museum revitalisation and the creation of a heritage trail around town.
The highlight of the awards ceremony which was held in Perth’s Kings Park, was Pingelly being declared the overall winner of the Tidy Towns Competition, earning the State Winners title for Western Australia.
This achievement highlights Pingelly’s commitment to environmental sustainability, community engagement and overall excellence.
As the new state winners, Pingelly will represent Western Australia on the national stage, competing for the National Title in Gascoyne Junction in May.
