WA Country Builders Secures Project Home Title at 2025 HIA-CSR Australian Housing Awards

WA Country Builders has been awarded the prestigious 2025 HIA-CSR Australian Project Home of the Year, marking a significant achievement for the regional builder and its parent company, JWH Group.

This accolade represents the third consecutive national win for JWH Group subsidiaries, following The Rural Building Company’s victories in the same category in 2023 and 2024.

The winning home, a custom-designed residence located in Mount Richon highlights WA Country Builders’ commitment to excellence in design and construction.

The home features a refined layout that captures stunning panoramic views from the living areas and kitchen.

The 2025 HIA-CSR Australian Housing Awards recognised excellence across the nation’s residential building industry. Finalists in the Project Home category included:

  • Stroud Homes, Port Macquarie
  • JOSCON, Tasmania
  • G.J. Gardner Homes, Melbourne.

This triumph continues the legacy of excellence established by JWH Group’s subsidiaries. In 2023, The Rural Building Company earned the national Project Home of the Year for a home located in the great southern region in Marbelup and in 2024, secured the same title for a client home in Gidgegannup.

Tony Harvie, General Manager of WA Country Builders, expressed his pride in the team’s achievement.

“Our success at the HIA-CSR Australian Housing Awards is a testament to our brands, high-quality homes, and superior workmanship,” Tony said.

“This award holds special significant for our team, because it recognises a home built for a client, not a display home, making the honour even more meaningful.” WA Country Builders continues to set the benchmark for residential construction in Western Australia, delivering homes that combine functionality, aesthetic appeal, and superior craftsmanship.
