18 years of experience leaves me well placed to help you into your dream home. Do you have a challenging block? Are the soil conditions challenging? Is your BAL assessment high for the block? Do you have specific needs with relation to the floor plan of your home?
These are all questions I deal with all the time. Having helped clients build homes from Lancelin to Toodyay and then down to Wandering I have a vast range of knowledge and experience in all situations.
Shelley has worked in the residential building industry since 2005, mainly in prestart but also in shire approvals, contracts, and sales administration. During her time in the industry, Shelley has been involved with single storey and two storey homes, as well as multi-unit developments. Shelley enjoys the prestart process where she can assist her clients with the finer details and selections for their home; and then seeing each home take shape during construction, and the excitement of the final key handover.
The team’s pocket rocket, Maggie works at a mile a minute to guide you through all of your selections and documentation. With 10 years of prestart experience, this self-confessed Grand Designs addict is at her best when she is helping you to convert the picture in your mind’s eye into the reality of your new home. Colours, cabinets and tiles are her happy place. Red Bull gives her wings.

Steve has been working at WA Country Builders as a Site Supervisor since early 2007. In 2008 Steve completed his Diploma of Builder’s Registration at Tafe and in early 2012 achieved his Builders Registration. Most of Steve’s previous experience was in Cabinet Making and some Secondary Fix Carpentry. He enjoys building WA Country Builders home’s as it isn’t your ordinary style of home, and that there are many challenges with the homes we build which makes it rewarding once the client’s home is completed.
Steve lives in Wandering and builds our homes in the southern suburbs and surrounds. He started out in the industry as a bricklayer and supervisor, but has proved over many years he can turn his hand to anything which has given him a broad range of experience – including a stint as a marron farmer! He has supervised for WA Country Builders for over a decade and now balances his time between supervising our houses, time with children and grandchildren, and being part of the coaching team at Boddington Eagles Football Club. Originally from Geelong, he is still a Geelong Football Club Supporter – but we forgive him.
Of Dutch heritage, Perth lad Daniel was raised in Upper Swan developing a love for the rural lifestyle. Daniel followed in his father’s footsteps gaining experience in roof carpentry and roof estimating, before going on to become a supervisor and registered builder in his own right. Daniel is a quiet achiever, taking great pride in the homes he builds our clients in the Avon region and surrounds. Weekends are spent with his son – teaching him to ride motorbikes and enjoy everything that Perth and the country lifestyle have to offer.
