  2. To kill germs on a dirty sponge, microwave it on high for two minutes and let it cool.
  3. Use an absorbent cotton cloth instead of paper towels when cleaning windows, then use a clean and dry cotton towel to buff away any little marks.
  4. To clean marks off pots and pans, fill your pan with water and one cup of vinegar. Simmer on stove and add two tablespoons of bicarb soda. Then simple empty the pan and scrub burn marks.
  5. To disinfect the disposal, drop in a cut-up lemon, some salt and a few ice cubes. The lemon deodorizes, and the ice and salt clean away residue.
  6. If your drain moves slower than a tortoise, unclog it by pouring down ½ cup baking soda, then ½ cup vinegar. Cover the drain with a wet cloth, and let sit for five minutes. Uncover and flush with steaming-hot water.
  7. To clean your shower head, pour distilled white vinegar in a plastic baggy and secure it to the shower head with a rubber band. Let it soak for 1 hour. Wipe clean with a wet cloth. Easy fix for a clogged shower head!
  8. Just like your cooking tools, cupbaords can get greasy when you’re making dinner. Add a little dish soap to a spray bottle with warm water to mist away the grime. Then rise with a well wring cloth and dry.
  9. Freshen your microwave. Make the interior easier to wipe down by heating a cup of water and a chopped up lemon on high until the microwaves window is steamy. Let the bowl sit for 15 minutes before you open the door, and clean away any grime with ease.
