The Manhattan
The dynamics behind the design of this year’s Telethon Home were very different to the typical housing solution for blocks with views to the rear. It is based on a very popular Residential Attitudes display home. We first set off to ensure the master suite had the opportunity of the same views obtained from the living spaces.

Rivergums Skillion
Around 2000 we designed a radical display home called The Skillion. While this was a great success we decided not to replicate it but to introduce other elements into a skillion design to demonstrate and to increase the options available in a home style not displayed within the building industry of Western Australia . Hence the birth of a new and radical Rural Building Company home.

The
Trek
The Inaugural 2003 Albany Trek home
We at WA Country Builders were delighted when approached to
build the 2003 Trek Home for Telethon. The Entertainer certainly
lives up to its name. This stunning family home features four
double-sized bedrooms, high ceilings, a home theatre, palatial
formal and informal living areas and an entertainer's kitchen
- designed by Geoff Jansz himself.

The
Millars Creek Loft
When the developers of Eaton Private Estate asked if we’d like to build a display home overlooking the creek and some very nice natural bush, our thoughts immediately turned to the Brookfield Loft and how we could enhance the house to take advantage of these very unique surroundings. We’ve also shown how the house can be enhanced with a brick build-up and an extensive deck to capitalise on this typical bush outlook.

The Harvest View
The Harvest View came about as a result of many of our customers trying to combine The Cape View into the freeform living area of The Durack. Not all of the results were ideal, so it lead us to design a standard combination. This eventually turned into the display that you see today - The Harvest View.

The

With 'The Alfresco 2002' we think they've achieved just
that, a home that looks great from the street and even better
when you go inside. You'll love the bold approach to colour,
the rendered walls, and particularly the weatherboard feature
facade.

The Seabrook
The Seabrook is bold, dynamic and inventive. Even in a modern inner-city streetscape this would be an eye-catching design. As you approach, the home leaps into view with its array of rendered, painted walls, rising to various heights, and its acute angles disrupted only by a railed balcony and small square windows.

The Moorings
'The Moorings' is a residence unlike any other. It is a home devoted to maximising a small lot with direct rear access. To ensure a bold statement, the home had to be symmetrical while balancing strong colour and clean uncluttered lines. Whether approached from the front or the rear, we wanted to create a strong sense of anticipation.

The Ashbrook
When you pass by The Ashbrook, you'll find it hard to contain your excitement. You can't help but be impressed by the way it looks. New age chic! The mixture of limestone-look block work with boldly painted rendered walls is a winner all the way. The use of corrugated iron on the roof and window awning gives the home that clean, crisp appearance.

The Broadwater
You'll love the design and chic style of 'The Broadwater'. This is a home we have worked long and hard on to achieve the desired result. It is very different from the rest; one look and you'll see what we mean. From the outside The Broadwater projects a distinct 'new age' charm with its iron roof, twin gables, and rendered, richly painted walls. A porch shelters the double door entrance which leads to a uniquely different interior.

The Pavilion
The Pavilion is the newest and one of the most impressive homes in the WA Country Builders range.
It is an extremely practical home yet presents a bold and interesting facade.
Rich blue columns contrast effectively with the smooth, deep-red brick and cream mortar. Arched windows framed in gunmetal blue, and a roof of dark charcoal grey give the Pavilion a distinctly provincial look.

Chapel Street
A visit to Chapel Street, the ultra chic shopping strip in Melbourne, leaves you with an overwhelming sense of design excellence and style. It's a feeling we've endeavoured to capture in this design, which carries the same name. To the passer-by, Chapel Street has a distinct old world Victorian flavour, with a red-brown colour-bond iron roof, verandah and stone-look walls.
